Terms of Use

Chromble provides color-related tools, references, previews, utilities, and a browser-based code editor for creative and development work. You may use the site for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Digital color values, palette suggestions, conversions, and previews are approximations. Displays, lighting, materials, printing systems, and color profiles can produce different results. Always verify important colors in the environment or medium where they will actually be used.

Chromble is provided as a creative utility. It is not a substitute for professional color measurement, print proofing, accessibility auditing, safety advice, or manufacturer specifications.

Features may be changed, removed, improved, or temporarily unavailable. We may update these Terms as Chromble develops.

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use Chromble in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others. The Code Editor must not be used to create, test, distribute, or facilitate malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, denial-of-service activity, cryptocurrency mining without authorization, security bypasses, or other code intended to harm systems, services, or people. Do not attempt to escape or defeat Chromble's preview isolation or other security controls.

You retain your rights to code, images, assets, and other content you create or provide to Chromble. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use that content and that your use does not infringe third-party rights. Chromble does not obtain ownership of your project merely because you edit or preview it using the site.

The Code Editor is intended as a browser-based development and testing environment. Code you run may behave unexpectedly, contain defects, make network requests, or interact with browser features available to the preview. Chromble uses browser isolation controls for the built-in live preview, but no browser sandbox should be treated as a guarantee that untrusted code is risk-free. Only run code you trust or understand, and do not use Chromble as the sole security-testing environment for sensitive software.

React Native device testing is an optional integration with Expo Snack and Expo Go. It starts only when you choose to connect a device. By using that feature, you instruct Chromble to transmit the relevant project files and dependency information to Expo so the project can run on your device. Expo's own terms and policies also apply to its services and applications.

The device preview is a testing convenience, not a guarantee that code will behave identically in every production build or device configuration. Packages that require custom compiled native modules may not be supported by Expo Go.

Chromble includes open-source software and may allow projects to reference third-party libraries or services. Those components remain subject to their own licenses, terms, and policies. You are responsible for complying with the licenses and usage terms that apply to third-party packages you choose to use. Notices for software distributed as part of Chromble are listed on the Open Source Licenses page.

The Chromble name, branding, interface, original site content, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Chromble to you.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chromble is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer rights.
